Local & Global Partners

Making disciples, near and far.

Local churches bear the responsibility to set-apart, train, send and support the extension of Christ’s church.
This discipleship happens locally and globally, through FCC’s partner families and organizations.

Global Partners

Carl and Julie Gaede, Tutapona

In 2008, Carl & Julie Gaede launched Tutapona, an organization committed to addressing the pain and trauma associated with war and violence. Tutapona means “we will be healed” in Swahili. Tutapona has helped tens of thousands of survivors of brutal civil wars find healing in the aftermath of unimaginably traumatic experiences. Today, Tutapona’s 25 staff in Uganda are working with refugees from conflicts in South Sudan, the DRC and other regional crises. The Gaedes have relocated to Iraq where they are now expanding Tutapona’s work to respond to the needs of refugees and IDPs from Iraq and Syria. The Gaedes are members of Faith Community Church of New Richmond and receive financial support from all six member churches of the St. Croix Valley LEAD Team.

John and Amy Lindstrom

John and Amy have been serving in Papua New Guinea since 1992. In 2010 They celebrated the dedication of the first ever New Testament in the Malei language. With better technology and their own increased skills that are currently with six languages (Kapin, Malei, Yamap, Laugui Kala and Buang) toward the goal of a New Testament in each of these languages.

Serve India

The Nandas established SERVE India, which serves pastors of churches in mostly rural and tribal areas and through those churches sustains impoverished widows, children, and those suffering with the effects of leprosy. They also operate a training center near the city of Visakhapatnam. Their pastors’ training program helps them develop healthy, growing, fruitful churches that multiply themselves into villages never before reached with the Gospel. Their churches are given support with projects such as buildings, wells, bicycles, etc. Their vocational training program serves as an avenue for outreach to the numerous villages that surround the training center. It offers courses in teacher training, learning English, computers, agriculture, sewing, etc. Through the local churches, the ministry also supports several children’s homes and 2 leprosy colonies. Each year medical camps are offered to treat the health needs of nearby communities. Short-term opportunities to join the Nandas in India usually take place in the winter of each year. If you are interested in participating, contact Terri Nanda at [email protected].

Steve and Nopaluck Cable

Steve and Nopaluck are focused on church planting and evangelism at Peace Fellowship Church (PFC) and Santisuk English School (SES) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Since 1995, nearly 700 different short-term missionaries (including members of the FCC family) have been involved in 4-week (minimum) evangelistic outreaches at SES that have been instrumental in winning many Thai to Christ.

If you have four weeks or more to give, SES is possibly one of the most rewarding short-term experiences possible. The costs of navigating Bangkok are quite low, and the ability for hands on cross-cultural experience that is rewarding is quite high. If you have graduated from high school, like people and would like to help others move ahead by learning English, consider this opportunity.
