2024 Parking Lot Construction Project

We’re expanding our parking lot!

Construction to our parking lot is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. While we’re looking forward to adding more parking spaces, we also know that construction can be disruptive to the normal flow of things. So we’re asking for your patience with us and one another as we work through this project together!

There will be restrictions and adjustments to the number of spaces available and to the flow of traffic during the project. However, we’re working hard to have signage, additional temporary spaces, and a Parking Team available to help during Sunday morning services.

How you can help!

1. Consider attending the 11am service: We’re requesting between 30 – 40 cars to move from the 9 am service to the 11 am service to lighten traffic and parking congestion during the earlier service.
2. Volunteer to join our Parking Team! Contact Pastor Larry Szyman to join our Parking Team or to learn more: [email protected]
3. Park in designated parking areas AND new temporary parking spaces: Additional parking spaces will be available in designated grassy areas.
4. Look for signage! Parking spaces and traffic flow may change throughout the project. We’re asking everyone to be mindful and lookout for any changes along the way!

Project Updates

• OCT 23, 2024: Construction has begun.
• OCT 30, 2024: North entrance to the parking lot will be closed and reserved for construction traffic only on Sunday, 11/3/2024.
• NOV 6, 2024: North entrance to the parking lot will remain closed and reserved for construction traffic only on Sunday, 11/10/2024.
• NOV 16, 2024: Asphalt has been poured, but parking is not available yet in these spaces to allow for curing. The newly poured asphalt will be sectioned off with barricades. Please do not drive around the barricades to park on the new asphalt.
• NOV 22, 2024: Areas of the north-end parking lot will open and available. Areas near retention ponds will be closed off due to excavation work, and construction equipment will be confined to those areas.
• Nov 27, 2024: Majority access to the parking lot is now available. The north entrance to the parking lot and spaces in he north end are now open, and . Some areas located near the retention ponds will be closed off intermittently as excavation work continues.
